Our Story
Charlotte’s award-winning Tea House offers a sanctuary of Victorian calm and tranquillity, just a few steps from the bustling city streets of Truro. Nestled in the historic Coinage Hall, our tea house invites you to step back in time and experience a slice of Cornish heritage.
The Coinage Hall in Truro boasts a rich history dating back to 1302, during the prosperous era of Cornish tin mining. The current Grade II listed building, constructed in 1848, stands as a testament to Truro's storied past. Lovingly restored by the building's owners, the Coinage Hall retains its historical charm while providing a cosy and elegant setting for our guests.
